Hello, I've been searching all over the internet, but can't find the solution to my problem.

I have a 2003 Ford F250 4x4 7.3L Auto Crewcab with FKE no factory alarm. I've installed the Scytek RS5000-2W Remote Start Alarm.

The alarm works except for unlocking the doors. Since I've got the FKE, I have tried hooking into the BLACK/ White wire out of the VSM but that did nothing.

I tried doing the GEM Wakeup wiring, but I'm not sure it did anything. ... I might of had it wired wrong. Where should this wire be connected to?

My lock and unlock wires are all diode isolated (strip on the alarm side). I have not connected the Dome light wire/relay yet.

I've set the alarm to double pulse unlock, but still nothing.

Another weird thing is the alarm will 'forget' the remote sometimes. By this I mean I arm the alarm, but later (30 mins - 2 hours) can not disarm the alarm with the remote, so I have to open the door with the key, setting off the alarm, key on, and valet button override. Then maybe another hour or two later, the remote will start working again.

Well I hope that is enough information to help me out.

Yes, I've seen the generic information about that. Pink wires are used when direct wiring with relays and the BLACK/ White & WHITE/ Red wires are used w/o relays.

I've found one person that posted his alarm install experience online:   https://www.superdutypsd.com/alarm_with_remote_start.php

But he used the Pink wires with Relays since his FKE stopped working.

Here is a post with another F250 that says to just pulse the door trigger wire:

I've done searches up the wahoo for GEM FKE FORD powerstroke diodes unlock etc... on and on.

I just want somebody that has installed into a 2003 F250/F350 Powerstroke truck to come in and say... ya. You need to do this and this and this to get the alarm to work correctly.

I've tried measuring the wires out of the VSM with a DMM, but that is a PITA big time. If I could figure out how the factory remote works with the VSM, then I should be able to hook up into it too.

GRRR!!!! Such a pain in the butt, just getting this last unlock feature to work.

Thanks for any help guys.
