Hello all, first time poster here....have installed a couple simple remote start systems before, but this was on older vehicles not requiring any type of  bypass etc.. As the topic says, vehicle is a 2000 Chrysler Neon, automatic, with power door locks and, I believe, an anti-theft system. I've decided to go with an Autostart AS-2361TW-FM, and understand I need a transponder bypass module to make this work. I've come across a couple that seem to relate to my project....... looking for some opinions/recommendations as to whether one is better than the other.Any other suggestions also much welcomed....

1.Bypasskit DLPK...understand I'd need an optional transponder loop with this?

2.Bypasskit DLPKCHG1

3.Fortin DUO-CHR-1

Thanks in advance for any and all input....Al

Anyone?....would just like to know if, in anyone's experience, any of the 3 bypass kits listed above is superior to the others, and that this would be all I'd need, in addition to the RS to complete the install.

p.s. I have the two keys needed for programming...

Thanks, Al

Still hopin' for some experienced input on this matter if possible....with the above mentioned vehicle, would any of the listed modules be a good choice to address all issues with installing the AS-2361TW? From what I understand so far, I need a unit that will integrate with the power door locks and security system, as well as provide transponder bypass?

Thanks, Al

I'm a bit confused over what bypass module to use for a 2000 Chrysler Neon LX...has transponder(grey key), power locks and, I believe, factory security(has red blinking light on dash). Been having a look at Fortin and Xpresskit modules, but having trouble understanding which offering addresses all of my needs. R/S being installed is an AutoStart AS-2361TW-FM....have two keys needed for programming, and would like a module not requiring a key left inside. Any suggestions/recommendations welcomed and much appreciated!

Thanks, Al

you can use a flcan with a flr2 its a multi function it does transponder without key lose and controls door lock and other functions check out.  or you use a

fl531, multi function

fldl1, multi function

fltb1(this only does bypass)

all from same web site.

ADS-DLSL CH1 from iDatalink will work with the Autostart through the RS 232. It comes with the C1 chip for Sentry bypass and also does all the necessary functions for locks, unlock, door trigger, OEM alarm control , trunk release, tach and priority door unlocking.

Thanks for all the input everyone....one more question, any of the above mentioned modules will have to be flashed with the correct software for my application....right? If I'm understanding the process correctly, I would need access to someone with the correct update cable for whatever brand of bypass I choose.

Thanks again, Al

Anyone?....will any of the above mentioned modules work right out of the box for my application, or do all of them need to be flashed for the particular vehicle installation?

Thanks, Al

When you buy any of the mentioned bypasses, they will come programmed from the place you bought them from. You will still need to program them to the vehicle and also the chip.

Hello, finally got around to doing this install, with the above-mentioned R/S and an ADS bypass....everything went well except for the RS-232 hookup, couldnt get that to work for the life of me! In the end, I went w2w on all connections and it has been working great. Small issue with the remote itself that I need some help with....twice in the last 24 hours the remote seems to have "locked up", won't respond to any buttons being pressed and the little LED in upper left corner stays lit. Solution seems to be to remove the battery and reinstall...then all is fine. Anyone run across this in the past.....battery going dead or some kind of trouble alert?

Thanks, Al
