Is there any way to get my doors to lock right after I start going ? I have a Nissan pathfinder 2006 with a stock alarm its for sec. for my wife . stock alarm does not have this opt. Or would a after market alarm be better than stock?

That is a diode.  1N4001, or greater.  Available at Radio Shack.

Can any of you help me . I am engine guy I look at the dia. and got the resistors 1/2 watt and a in4001 diode They had 1/4 watt but I Didn't know if bigger was better. Also got 1000 k capacitors . Do you solder these as the dia. shows with out any supports ? Probable a stupid question for you guys but bear me.An what size wire do you use to connect the relays. On the door trigger is that the door switch I think? How do you control the time before the door locks? Is it in the capacitor? Again thank you for your time Iam learning a lot reading your reply's.

1/4 watt or bigger doesn't matter. Once you've soldered loom up (after testing) with Scotch 33+ and cable (zip) ties, can't help you with the wire guage, we use metric, up to 1.5mm. I think that's 14g. The locking will be almost instant, maybe Mr.I can help you with that or something like a DEI 528t or another cap as a time delay. Not familiar with vehicle, wouldn't think you need the switch and yes an aftermarket alarm would have this facility.

Lt.Blue lock (neg) and grey unlock (neg) in driver's kick panel, double unlock pulse needed to unlock other doors so 1 more relay for the second pulse, although if people are in the vehicle I don't think it matters, they can use a hand to undo, also safer if kids or use the drivers door button for the other doors. So don't ask about the switch in the driver's door not needed.
