I am realling pulling my hair out on this one guys. I am installing a compustar 1w900 and I have tried using both a fortin and ads module. The truck will not crank. I have looked through the forums and seen a few posts about this. I have both ign hooked up (pink, white) on the truck. The orange accesory wire is also hooked up. I have tried hooking the second accesory (brown) up also with no change. So after sitting on this for a day, I ran through all the key positions with a test light and noticed the the white ign wire comes on before the pink (it does stay on all the way through crank). I do have voltage on the start wire when the auto start is activated but no crank.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks

if this was a newer model year i would say its timing of acc and ign wires but that old of one had normal start circuit, when itsw not cranking whats the passlock light doing? sounds like either a passlock problem( or not knowing how compustar works most remote starts when a tach wires not prgrammed it wont let it crank) did you hook up tach wire? did you program it? did it accept it?

Okay, admission of stupidity is in order here. I didnt have my module programmed right. I also had the wrong wire coming from the module for data (explains most of the issues). Thank you for your replies. After I was finally able to look through how things were not working I was able to figure it out.
