Alright started my install yesterday, thought I had enough of it connected to get the thing started, but nothing.  I basically just want the RS, if it unlocked and locked great, but my basics are just RS.  RS is an Avital 4000XL.  Everything is connected and the car wont even attempt to start.  I had the key in the ignition, turned to the run position.  Next question once this is all done, is where does the DEI PK3 connect to the alarm?  Which wires are connected?

If anyone has any pics of the connection points please share, car still starts with the key, so I am still mobile!

Here is what I have connected currently:
Heavy Gauge Wires:
All connected just under the steering column
Red 12V (x2) -- red wire
Pink Ignition output  -- pink
Violet starter output -- yellow
Orange accessory output -- orange
Pink/White ignition output -- white

Second plug
White parking light output --
black (-) ground input -- ground on steering column
RED / white (-) 200mA channel 2 output -- not connected
brown (-) horn honk output -- not connected
orange (-) ground when locked -- not connected
WHITE/ blue (-) activation input -- not connected
yellow (-) ignition output -- not connected
GREEN / WHITE (factory alarm rearm) -- not connected -- found the plug by the drivers side strut tower, not sure which dark green to connect to.
GREEN/ black (factory alarm disarm) -- not connected -- know where to look for the ORANGE / black wire, but can't locate it.  Not sure where this 32 pin harness is at???

Plug 3 -- None of these are connected
Pink (-) 200mA third ignition on
purple (-) 200mA second starter turn on
orange (-) 200mA accessory turn on
blue (-) 200mA status output

Plug 4
BLACK/ white neutral safety shutdown -- connected to violet/white wire near the shifter.  0V when in park/nuetral shows voltage when in gear.  Toggle switch between brain and wires
violet/white tach input -- connected near coil pack violet/white wire on passengers side
brown (+) brake shutdown -- connected to white wire on brake switch
grey hood pin shutdown -- connected to hood pin
blue/white 2nd status output -- not connected

blue (-unlock) -- white near kick panel  -- shows constant voltage, when doors are locked or unlocked voltage drops.  Does not work with RS, lights dim on the radio display, but locks do not move
green (-unlock) -- light blue near kick pannel -- same as blue

What happens when you attempt to start? Try grounding that BLACK/ whte neutral wire just for testing purposes, eliminate your hood connection temporarily as well!

It doesnt do anything!  No clicking noises, no started, no nothing!  I will try what you suggested and see what happens.
