anybody here done one of these yet?

I do 2- 4 REGULAR  Mazda 3's a day........

But the SMART KEY AUTOMATIC Version Has me Hung up....

The Wiring for the most part is the same ( Brake, Park lights, Lock and unlock, Tach, TX, RX )

But there Are some very noticable Differences - ( Ignition, Start, and stop, and the transponder are completey Different )

Anyone  successfully Install one of these yet?

BTW, I'm using a compustar CM5200, W/ ADS- AL CA Bypass, and followed all the directions and still no start....

ANY INFO WOULD BE GREATLY APRECIATED.....

CM5200, what firmware are you using and also are you using the D2D or hardwire ? Is the RS232 port unlocked ?

Can you post the wires that you used on the CM5200 and the corresponding wires to the ALCA ? Just want to verify your connections. Also, does the module program properly ?

Very important to make sure you wired the right diagram (type), is your car automatic or manual?

Which Firmware/Diagram are you using on this car?

Document number? (found on the upper right corner of the pages)

I'm suspecting you're not referring to the good instructions, the vehicle is far from being the same as a regular key and all the required remote starter wires are in the BLADE guide

You are right, refer to the Idata link manual, it tells you exactly what to do......

The ALDL0-CA is the module he used, but he has yet to tell us what firmware version he used. The ALDL-MA is the firmware name he used but not sure what version it is.

Is there any difference between a Mazda3 and a Mazdaspeed3 with the push button start?

I did a regular 3 a month ago or so and it was very easy to work with. I have only worked on 1 other push button car, an 08 Camry and that came out nice as well.

Does anyone have any feedback on a Speed3?

Thanks!

the speed and the mazda3 dont differ. the only thing that is differant is the engine and some basic upgrades on interior and audio. The wiring is still the same.

So with the push button, is that used or is the starter wired in a traditional sense? I haven't even looked at the car yet, but I would think with the push button, it would be wired differently then a car that has just a key cylinder.

Thanks for the replay and any clarification on this!

the 3s start by holding the brakes. But with a modules you can achieve the same thing in less time than a traditional remote start. I use the Fortin pieces and they work great for me.
