Well it's that time of year again, and i want my blower to defrost for me. I had not originally hooked up that white  +12v accessory wire. I went to do it the other day and come to find out-my truck is negative switched for the blower for each setting. So, my question is, can I go straight to the motor itself?

Thanks

Won't it be easier to power the accesory wire and leave the blower on at the desired setting! And yes you can go straight to the motor itself!

ok, this makes sense. I obviously didn't pick up on it at the time of the install.  When you say power the accessory wire, that would be one in my ignition harness correct? That makes more sense to have a way to power everything. I found it kind of strange that there was only one accessory power wire with this unit. Is that common to all other models out there?

Thanks

No most models would carry wires to accomadate additional accesory or ignition wires! Yes the wire in your ignition harness would be the one i am talking about
