I have a Ultra Start add on 1155TL I need to know the best way to add this to my keyless entry system and use the lock to activate the remote start? Do I take the lock door wire from the drivers side kick and connect it to the Starter Activation input on the ultra start?

Yes, you take the door LOCK wire ( or the door lock motor wire ) and connect it to the activation wire on the Ultra Start. Program it for a triple or dual pulse activation to start the car. You will also need a bypass module for the PATS.

Driver Mtr LockPINK/BLACK(REV)DRIVER KICK
Using this wire will provide a (+) pulse to trigger the remote start.

I hooked it up to the pink/black in the drivers side kick panel but had no luck I did  tap the wire to 12v three times and the car started so I know it works.  I will have to retest the wire tomm with my 12volt tested b/c i broke the bulb. The only other problem i'm having is finding the parking lights wire which is suppost  to be brown and in the kick panel. Anyone else have a problem finding it?

chev104275 I assume you mean the parking lights run down under the carpet? I did see a thicker 12 gauge tan wire but I didn't touch it b/c 1. I thought parking lights where thin gauge and 2. it was tan not brown

i know with the mariners there are 2 harnesses in the kick one that has clips to the floor and the other runs down behind the carpet   the one you want is down behind the carpet and its a brown not tan i think its a 14-16 ga wire

ok thanks I found it but the main issue is still I need to find a pos input for the remote starter I tried the pink/black trace but I don't get a pos. signal when I hit the lock button on my keyless entry button. Where can I find it that pos input on the lock side?

I'm looking in the drivers side kick panel for the wire. Yes I tried the pink/black at the door harness (must be neg. pulse). I mainly need to find what turns pos when i hit the lock button. I guess the best way is to put the tester on each wire one by one until it turns positive. I was just hoping one of them turns pos at the door harness. I was looking all over the web for a wiring diagram but can't find it?

this is for an 05 mariner but try it should be the same. At the SJB in a brown connector pin 20 should be Pink/Black 16 gauge

there should be one in the door harness it has to go from the Lock relay to the acuator inside the door     How are you testing a DMM ?

I actually haven't connected anything to the SJB I will have to look on the passenger side center console for it. I using a 12v tester light I didn't see a need to break out the mulit meter (guess it is a good Idea for neg wires).

the only wiring diagrams i have are for escape/mariner which should be the same and they show a pink/black running from the SJB into the door to the acuator

I will double check it the pink/black but does it say the wire is (+) or (-) ?
