Hey guys im having a tough time installing my new Viper 5301 i just picked up.. To be honest with you i thought it was going to be alot easier than it is.. for the simple reason that it is just a generic wiring layout.. not specific for my car wth i cant figure this out?! could someone help me out and tell me what wires go where, they are definitely not color coordinated that's for sure..

Here's the wiring diagram from this website.. but still there are only details for about 15 wires, what about the other 20 ill have left over on the viper? do i connect multiple viper wires to the same wire in my car?

i think you should take it to an accredited shop to have it installed.... you have all the info you need to do the job yourself, (as seen above) so if you dont know where to even begin i suggest you not risk damage to your vehicle and just pay a professional....

From what you have posted there, all wires will be put to use in that h3 harness!

I just got finished soldering the first harness, the H3.. I used every wire except that flex relay (pink/black)

That wire is the input side of the flex relay, if you connected the pink/white wire as second ignition, the pink/black has to be connected to the first ignition wire!

T-taps are very unreliable, why not solder like you did to the other wires, even if you just strip back the insulation and wrap the wire around and tape it off, this connection is alot more reliable than a t-tap!

White - Parking Light (Place fuse in brain for + park lights)

      H2
Lt. GREEN/ Black - Factory Disarm

      H3
Violet - Starter
Pink - Ignition
Pink/White - Ignition 2

you DO NOT need to hook up the pink/black... that was erroneous info..... the info above is all you need....

What does 7 flashes say in the manual...Sounds like you need to learn tach...Or put it in automatic mode...!

Did you make a connection to the BLACK/ white in the 5 pin harness...Did you put it on a toggle switch...Is the switch on...? Check the hood pin...

yes the BLACK/ white (neutral safety switch) is grounded.. the toggle switch is in ON mode.. i didn't hook up the hood pin.. i figured the hood pin would only activate when the circuit was complete, meaning the wire is grounded so i didn't bother with the hood pin..
