Installed my first Viper today (5901), excluding me forgetting to ground the neutral safety all went well . The issue I am having is I couldn't get the door locks to work. I found a blue wire and a white wire (in a blue harness) coming from the door that when I probed my multimeter into a 12v source would drop to 1-2 volts when locking/unlocking. I connected the blue(?) and green wires from the starter to these wires but could not get it to work. What did I do wrong?

Thanks in advance.

PowerLock WHITE (-) IN HARNESS IN DRIVERS KICKPANEL

Are these the wires you have connected?

Looks like staub wronged me on this one I will give those wires a try. I should be able to hook the Blue/White up directly correct?

Actually turns out staub was telling me that the car arms/disarms with lock wires and gave me Pink/Lt.Blue (Arm/Disarm) they obviously tested like locks but were arm/disarm wires only! posted_image

Thanks Metz! To bad I couldn't get through to any tech support today and had to send the lady home. :( I really need to get onto the Directwire bandwagon.
