I am hooking up a python 580 in my 2004 malibu. I have everything hooked up except the remote start. I have many wiring diagrams for my car and they all say that there is no starter wire on my ign. harness. can any tell me what to do. I know that when my car sees voltage on the IGN. wire and a drop of voltage on the ACC. wire the computer will crank the starter. Can anyone tell me what to hook up to get it to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also I have a DEI DLPK interface. I hooked it up and the light came on. I checked my D2D cable from the python and I have 12 volts and ground feeding into the bypass. Is there any way to tell if the bypass is Bad?

These are tough cars for beginners...The manual for the bypass should have all the wording/instructions you need...Maybe its time to seek a professional...?

Make sure you use the most up2date manual.

Double check your wires and manuals for the right wires..
