hey

ive recentley put in a hidden switch in my car to break the contact  on the starter motor from the ignition, but my problem is  my remote start will not work  unless the circuit between the starter and the ignition is closed. i would have to go outside flip he switch start the car and go back in side . this would defeat the purpose  and take away the convenience of having the remote start. can anyone  shoot me a diagram that could fix this for me. ive got  a relay and a momentary push button switch, which i would like to incorporate instead of the toggle.

ive always been intrested in electronics and  i would consider myself a step or 2 above a novice tech but  its a little difficult wrapping my head around some of these circuits. if  anyone can help my out, i would gratley appreciate it .

thx allot

If it's just the starter motor you have interrupted, then you can just connect the starter output to the point after the relay! The only drawback is that the relay will buzz momentarily everytime the remote starter engages!

Try hooking it like this and hooke the starter wire from your remote start to the motor side wire.
