Has anyone run across this?
I installed a DLPK on a 2008 Chev Equinox.
Everything works great - However not the customer complains that sometimes when she uses the key, there is a delay in when the starter cranks.
I understand how these cars crank, the computer sees the acc drop out and it activates the starter circuit.
How could the bypass cause a delay in this? Is there a problem with the bypass, my install?
Thanks in advance.....

should I try to flash it with the latest firmware? I installed it right out of the package.

doesnt hurt to upgrade it, but more than likely it will do it still

FYI for anyone else who may run in to this issue:
I asked a FAQ question on bypasskit.com:

Q15334 - I installed one of these on a 08 Chev Equinox. The customer has informed me that some times there is a delay in the starter cranking now. Have you heard of this? Is this normal, is there an issue with the bypass/install. Please help.

If you get this problem when you start the car with the key, use a RFLCHGM and connect it to the DLPK.
You will need to reconnect the brown or yellow wire that you did cut when you installed the DLPK.
Once everything is installed properly, the RFLCHGM will need to be programmed as shown in the installation sheet.
By the way, if you decide not to modify the install, the issue you get with the module is normal.
