I bought Viper-5901 remote start/security system and a separate express kit remote start bypass kit for my Chevy Malibu 07. Can someone help me figure out where the starter wires, factory alarm arm and disarm wires and trunk release wires are?

Start by reading this post. It's for an '05, but the wires are the same.

Factory alarm arm and disarm are going to be with the factory remote only, unless you're using a bypass that will control them - there aren't any wires on the vehicle that perform this function.

Which bypass are you using?

The only area I would disagree with Chris, is that it seems that some of the newer Malibus do have a light green disarm wire. But no arm wire.

You can find pretty much all the wires you need, locks, trunk, disarm, a heavy-gauge constant wire, in the wiring harness that runs along the driver's door sill.

There are some ignition and accessory wires in the doorsill, but they don't seem to work for remote start......I get those at the ignition switch.

There is no traditional starter wire. When ignition turns on, and accessory drops power, the car cranks and starts.

Again, as Chris said, your module probably performs many of these functions for you......exactly what's the part number of the module you have?
