So im pretty new to car starters. I have everything wired up the right way for it to start, lock and unlock, security, ect.
With that being said im having alot of trouble figuring out how to wire up the rear defroster to turn on when the car starts. i think its the blue and white wire coming off the starter but i dont know how to wire it in.
Any help in muchly appriciated
Did you test the defrost switch, what does it need, just a pulse (-) or (+) or constant trigger????

i didnt get a chance to check i installed the starter and alarm 3 days ago and am doing the defroster tomorow. does anyone know if its a +/- pulse or a constant? and if so how to wire it up?
It is probably pulsed, you will use the blue/white wire and change programming in mode 3 section 11 on pulsed....what it does? It will pulse your defrost 10 seconds after start is complete....the only thing I didn't check is what you do during summer time when you want to cool your car???? You don't want your defrost to come on, right? If it's negative, I would install a toggle switch on the blue/white wire to be able to shut it off during summer time not to risk blowing up the backglass....if it's positive, install a relay to change the polarity of the output.....
85= switched to ground (one side of the switch to ground, the other to pin 85)
86= constant 12V
87= constant 12v
30= To positive defrost switch.

ok when you set the blue wire with white stripe up for defogger, it only turns the defogger on when the starter unit is below 55 degrees so i dont have to worry about switching polarity with a relay and adding a switch right? i should just have to tap into the defogger switch or the wire right?
The first question, 55 degrees is kinda high don't ya think!
Secondly, if the witch for the defogger is negative low current switched that activates a relay, then yes you can just tap in at the switch!
