Subject: wait to start light not on

I just installed a remote starter in my diesel 06 F-350. I used the resource disk from this site and I got to say it was a great tool. For the wait to start I used a timer on the unit itself. Now my problem. The light on the dash for the wait to start doesn't come on when auto started. Is this O.K? It seems like the glow plugs are working but I live in a cold climate and would like to be sure. Also in the info there was a note at the bottom NOT to use the wait to start light. Anyone installed these before and encountered this?  Is this normal? Thanks in advance for any help or thoughts on this.

I'm not absolutely sure. but i think the wait to start is data controlled, hence the advice to not use the light, someone else will verify, also, the glowplug light should come on as your'e duplicating the effect of turning the keys, are you powering all ignition and accesory circuits?

Did you power up the radio accessory circuit? I never figured out why but i'm pretty sure that the light won't come on if you don't.

I've got some leads on this little problem. I checked the glow plug module and it is indeed not working. Can anyone tell me what the DRK BLU/ Light green wire does? Its not hooked up right now. On the vehicle wiring section of this site there seems to be a little views. On the 05 installation it says this wire is only used on gas start. Got any ideas.

Thanks! Your the first post to mention the drk blu/light blu I was wondering what that did. I'll give it a try as soon as I get a relay. Out of outputs.
