Hello,
I'm wiring my 2006 Ford Expedition so that when I hit the unlock button on my factory key fob, the low beams and reverse lights will illuminate for about 30 seconds.  My plan is to tap into the (+) pulse from the unlock motor wire and have his (+) pulse trigger a TR-7 that will in turn trigger (2) Bosch style 40 amp relays wired to the low beams and reverse lights.  I've tested this set-up on paper and on the bench and it seems to work perfectly. Now the flip side to this project is that I'd like to wire the TR-7 to trigger the Bosch relays for another 30 seconds any time the ignition is moved from "Run" to "Off".  Is the TR-7 capable of this and if so, how would it need to be wired?

Thanks
Ryan

Yes if it has a neg trigger as well. Just run from your ign 1. That will go negative and trigger the TR7.  I haven't a clue what it is but I assume it's similar to a DEI 528t. On second thoughts you will need a second TR7. Also if the TR7 has an output of 10amps or more, you only need one relay for the headlights. 10amps is more than enough for the reverse lights. Except you will have to put a 3amp diode on the feed to the reverse lights to prevent feed back to the headlights.
