I installed a viper 160vx remote start and a xk04 bypass on a 2006 ford taurus. Had trouble programming the xk04, the only way i got it programmed was to remove the d2d cable and and connect the red constant 12 volt input wire then connect the brown ground input wire after doing the two key thing and not remote starting. Everything thing seems to work fine,the only thing i need to know is if the red light on the xk04 is supposed to blink when nothing is turned on. And thanks for all the help.

If I remember right, the red light on the xk04 will blink in unison with the security light of the vehicle.
