I've installed a Bulldog Security remote start, along with a PKUCG2X bypass into my 2008 Dodge Ram half ton gasoline fueled hemi. Everything works, (ignition on and off, lights, doorlocks, etc.), but she will not crank the starter. I am getting a ground trigger out of the bypass to the MUX wire aat the keyswitch, but it must be the wrong value. Does anyone know if I need to add a resistor and what value?

Thanks

does your bulldog support shutdown diagnostics?  if so check it.  do you have a hoodpin hooked up?  make sure it's not seeing ground when remtoe starting.

I haven't seen anything on shutdown diagnostics. Factory tech support is non-existent. Haven't hooked up the hood pin. I'm pretty sure that the module is sending the wrong type of signal to the computer to let it crank the starter. Ignition powers up, and shuts down, as it should. Just no starter crank  yet.

Thanks
