Been awhile since doing any starters so I was looking for some tips on this truck. Using a Ultra start and a 1701g module. Have seen some posts stating no start wire and other with a mux set up. Thanks for the help in advance.. Feels good to be doing starters again....

new body style or classic? i assume new body style cause you mention the mux wire

just did one a few days ago but it was a stripped down model. he had aftermarket power locks and windows added to it already when it came in to me. there is no usable starter wire for remote start, i just used a 556U (key in a box) bypass and resistors for the mux wire. someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i think the 1701g only works for remote start if the factory remote start functions (AP8 code in the glovebox on the huge sticker). i'll try to look up the manual

I am right in the middle of doing this starter. Uusing the 1701g module. The locks and everything are working.. The bypass is not.. works great if the key is in the ignition. I have only hooked up one ignition and one accessory and no start wire. It is a work truck stripper.. with power locks. In the manual for the 1701g it shows using a relay and resistors on the pink/black wire.. Any ideas on this problem  or on how you might have hooked this up??? Thanks for your help..
