No it controls the engine management via encrypted data, only the dealers or possibly the Poles know how to get round it. Sorry I couldn't resist.

Who knows the correct?
ENGINE IMMOBILISER: (Fuel pump – gasoline vehicles).
Connected at the back of the fuse box
(on the side of the driver side dash)
corresponding to the fuse Nr. 21 (10A).
