I'm confused. I've only connected the remote start wiring so far. Nothing for door locks or trunk release. When I go to start the car I get a beep on the remote and then the parking lights flash 8 times. Checking that in the manual it's the NSS ground failure. I'm confused as this is connected to the same ground as the rest of the system. Anyone know what might be the culprit?

Does that unit have a toggle switch that has to be plugged in onto the unit ? If so plug it in! On the 5701 and the 5901 it must be plugged in for remote start purposes!

Likely. I'll go test it now.

I got it. I never connected the switch. It now turns the starter on, but no ignition. Going to go test now.

It's a 2000 Honda Accord EX, btw.

Everything's done but door locks. That's for tomorrow :) Thanks for all the help!
