I have recently installed an AudioVox APS-996 system on my 2000 Ford Windstar. I connected the door trigger to the ORANGE / white wire located at the FEM. My guide says to connect the dome supervision to the BROWN / pink located at the passenger D pillar. I have looked for the wire but can not find any BROWN / pink wire on that side of the van. Is this wire there or is it another color? An exact location would be of great help too.
Thanks, RS

* This Circuit Requires A Pull Up Resistor To Prevent False Triggering. See Tech Notes For More Information. ** F.E.M. Is Located Under The Dash Panel. *** R.E.M.Is Located behind Passegner's Side Rear Quarter Panel. #201 - See Negative Pulse Door Lock Diagram
DOME LIGHT INFO: Ford's F.E.M. And R.E.M. Will Drop A Low Signal Across The Dome Light And In Most Cases Cause A False Trigger. To Eliminate This, Connect One Side Of 10 k Ohm Resistor To The Door Trigger wire and Connect The Other Side Of The Resister to 12 Volts.Alternate Wire: Use YELLOW/BLUE (-) At Under Dash Curtesy Lamp If Equipped. Does Not Require Pull Up Resistor. Use YELLOW (-) At Dimmer For Dome Light Supervision. HEADLIGHT INFO: This Requires The TAN/WHITE To Be Cut At The HeadLight Switch And A Relay Added To Send 1.2K Ground Through A Resistor To The Vehicle Side
