Ok, so I figured out most of my car...after thinking I burned out the door lock module....long story.

Anyhow, I have a little issue where Lock and Unlock work fine. But, if I start the car, the factory alarm goes off for a split second and shuts off. Well, I eliminated the regular green and blue lock and unlock wires from the and started to use the factory arm and disarm wires instead...the only problem with this is...if I start the car (with the remote) it unlocks the car and stays unlocked...what can I do to get around this?

You should be able to change a setting on the program menu to UNLOCK-START-LOCK the doors everythime it is remote started. Not sure which option group this is for the Viper, but look in your manual for this option.

Unless I'm totally missing something...there is no such option. I'm pretty sure that autopage has this option...but nothing in this Viper manual...

I've never had this much issue with a car...I just noticed that my instrument cluster doesn't show me my mpg/avg speed/mi of fuel left when I click the button...great. Sorry. I'm just venting due to frustration.

Ok, still trying to figure this out...I've read numerous posts all over the net that says it has the unlock-start-relock feature, but I really can't find it for the life of me, am I just so frustrated with this thing that I can't figure this out?

From where did you pick-up the lock unlock wires?

In the door...Blue/Red and BLACK/ White, I even looked on Alldata, and apparently everything is Bus communication. So there's no way of getting it from anywhere else. I've been trying to look for a disarm and nothing.

Sorry, you did the right thing, I was thinking of the earlier model, you've got to look at something else.  Going to those wires in the door should control the factory alarm. Are you using a by-pass and if so are you using the grey valet key in it.  Also have you connected the volet in the ignition loom as ignition ll or ACC?.

Yeah, I used my Valet key...Violet (car side) is connected to IGN 2 (Viper side)...everything works fine, I just can't figure out how to get the car to relock after it starts with the remote.

Reconnect the Viper's lock wires to the BMW wires in the door and ignore  the factory alarm arm and disarm, I do loads of BMWs and I've never had to use them. One more thing, don't laugh, but the feed RED / yellow to the trunk light(s), diode using 1N4004 those feeds with the bands towards the light bulbs(s).

Well, if I hook up regular Lock/Unlock wires to the door, it triggers the factory alarm as soon as the RS turns the ignition on. So, the only way I was able to circumvent this was by using the factory arm/disarm as lock and unlock...

Also, what RED / Yellow wire are you talking about?...

I can't think of anything else!  The light bulbs in the trunk courtesy lights need dioding off, this normally happens when you arm the alarm on E46 BMWs as well, you diode on the power feeds which are RED / yellow and you get your trunk trigger from the WHITE/ brown. About once in every 3 times you arm, the alarm will trigger off. I wonder if that might have something to do with it.
