hey, its been long since i have been back on the12volt, but i wanted to know if any of you would happen to have a Compustar pro antenna and the rps knock pad available for sale. I was given the system but it doesnt have the antenna or the rps. i beleive the series of the brain is CM5500, on the back of the unit it just has MM721. if any of the members can sell me one, please let me know. I plan to install this unit asap into my 09 accord and do a complete how to for other members. thanks
I have some and need to know which system you have ? 2 way or 1 way, SH or AM or FM ?

hey Jeff,
its the pro2wfms. from what i was checking out, the brain is a CM5200, which only does remote start. i was actaully looking to buy the pro2wfmas, but then again this unit was given to me.
Jeff, does the compustar brains all use the same wiring, just the brain is differant? i installed a pro into my moms car awhile back, but i forgot what it was like.
You can make the 5200 into a passive alarm system by turning on the alarm feature with the OP500 programmer. This will give you door and trunk and also impact or perimeter sensor alarm as well if you add these into the system. You can hook this into the horn output or add a siren instead. The only difference between the CM5200 and the CM5000 is the fact that the CM5000 has designated outputs for shock sensors and also has the ability to give you specific paging outputs to the 2 way remote such as hood, trunk, doors, impact or AUX input ( perimeter. tilt, etc ).
All the 5200 and 5000 CPU's have the same wiring for the CN1 and CN2 harnesses as well as the door lock harness and antenna. The only thing is the knock sensor and the impact sensor will not be available on the CM5200 CPU.
