I want to install automatic roll-up upon arming an after-market alarm on my 2010 F150 SuperCrew and I'm wondering whether it's worth buying ready-made modules or whether I should just use relays and timers.  I have 4 windows + sunroof + rear power slide window (6 in all to close).  If you recommend modules, which one and how many should I get?  I bet someone has thought this one through before.  Also, is sequential closing essential or can I close everything up at once.  Thanks.

relays and timers will cause stress to the window motors and shorten their lives.  It is also unsafe (no anti pinch).  Any reasonable module that has anti pinch is acceptable.

Sequence shouldn't be too important.  From what I have personally seen the cheaper systems roll one window up at a time and the higher end systems do all at the same time.

To determine how many modules you need you need to decide on a brand and then purchase enough to do all your windows.
