Hi everyone, first time poster.

I am no stranger to forums and did a bit of searching on here but found nothing for the 2007 only references that it should be the same as the 2006 but I had some questions in addition that I did not see answered elsewhere on here.

I am not a rookie (installed around 700-1000 remote starts from 1998-2002) however as you can tell I have been out of the game for a long time and alot has changed.

I just bought a viper 5101 for my wifes car for xmas with the hopes of upgrading her with the smart start module once it is not as ridiculously expensive and best buy only.

At first I was going to do start only since her keyfob has the remote built in but figured since I have to wire disarm anyway and it would be handy for the iphone I would go ahead and all lock/unlock/trunk.

First I am looking for the 2007 specific wiring for the car (if it is in fact the same exact as the 2006 I can search that one on here)

Second as far as modules and reading here it looks like my best option is the XK532. It looks like the XK will handle through single wire all of the lock functions as well as trunk and also it will not require a key. I saw that it handles the mux (mux did not exist when I stopped installing) starter and ignition but when I look at the install diagram https://www.bypasskit.com/getdocument.aspx?documentid=578 I do not see any connection of the mux from the 532 nor do I see any starter input being connected from the viper. If the mux is connected from the 532 through the data then that part makes sense but what about the input from the viper for start, where is that connection shown? Also for the trunk is it correct that the PT would need two aux wires connected through diodes to both door slide wires in the 532? Seems a little involved but that just may be what it takes.

Lastly...I saw on the now obsolete CHDL7PK2 it shows specifically a mux wire connection as well as starter input from the viper with ground resistance AND it shows separate programming instructions for the integrated keyfob keyless as the 532 does not. Can anyone shed light if the 532 is missing some instructions or if it is just an advanced model that integrates it better? for reference https://www.bypasskit.com/getdocument.aspx?documentid=585

Lastly...any tips or tricks from the pros on this one or is it pretty straight forward.

I appreciate the help and I understand that variants of this question have been asked before but after an hour of searching I couldnt find a perfect match for what I need.

Break it to me easy...im rusty.

edit: Found this https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/forum_posts.asp~TID~91369

I am assuming that is a good wiring diagram. Now if I can just get the 532 and the mux/trunk pop issues all worked out.
