I am trying to install keyless entry onto the existing central locking on a KIA RIO 2007 . I have worked out that the locking unlocks with a negative feed to the blue/black wire, but cannot work out how it locks. When I unplug the wiring plug in the kick panel the doors lock, a negative feed will unlock the door but I cant find a wire that will relock the door. The wiring colours available in the drivers door are grey, blue/black,BROWN / orange, black. Can anyone help ? Thanks

Do you have a rocker switch at the door controls in the driver door?

Have you tested at the switch to see? test all the wires while using the rocker switch to activate the locks, record your readings and let me know! Most likely it should be negative trigger!

Power Unlock          YELLOW/BLACK          (-)          IN HARNESS IN DRIVER KICKPANEL
PowerLock          BLUE          (-)          IN HARNESS IN DRIVER KICKPANEL

hmm you say negative to it unlocks it and unplugging the plug locks it? Try cutting the wire that unlocks with a negative and see if it locks... then report back.

Yes when the plug is unplugged it locks the doors then if you send a negative to the blue/black it unlocks. I will have another play about.
