The alarm I am installing has two wires I don't understand, one for ingnition 1 and one for ingition 2. Why are there two ingnition wires on my car and what are they for?

If it's only an alarm, you would only need to hook up the PRIMARY ignition wire. The only time you would need to hook up 2 IGN wires is for a remote starter.
