python 991 , infiniti/niss 2nd starter

A little background on the installer, me... I'm your average DIY'er with average electronic experience (mostly in my garage). This will be my second install of a R/S. First being in my 07 Toyota Camry over two years ago (car is now gone). I recall having to get a relay and hooking that up to the 2nd ignition. For some reason, I can't grasp the function of the relay, but all I know is, with the help of this site, I was able to get it to work. Anyway, my next project is to get a R/S into my new car, the G35 coupe. The nissan/infiniti's have a second starter, and this should be the same idea as the 2nd iginition in the toyota's (any experts out there that want to correct a noob, please jump in at anytime). On the Python 991, the H3 connection looks like:

1 Pink              ->   Ignition of car
2 RED / white   ->   Constant wire in car
3 Orange        ->   Accessory 1 of car
4 Violet          ->    Starter side of main starter wire
5 Green        ->   Key side of main starter wire
6 Red             ->   Constant wire in car
7 Pink/white   -> Starter side of 2nd starter wire in car
8 Pink/black   ->   Key side of 2nd starter wire
9 RED / black    ->   Constant wire in car

My question, am I right to assume the use of the #7 and #8 wires (aka, Flex Relay)? In the install manual is says, for #7 "This wire is factory programmed as Ignition 2 and can be programmed as a 2nd acc or 2nd starter." and for #8 "This wire is used when an ign switch isolation on the vehicle is neccessary. This is common on Toyota and Nissan's which require use of Tech Tip document #1077."

So, will the connections of the above work? Do I need a relay to connect these?

You didn't give a year on the vehicle! But i'll proceed anyway, i highly doubt you'll need to isolate the ignition switch, you just have to power the second starter wire, i normally do it like this

Pin 87- Twelve volts fused at say fifteen amps

Pin 86 - first starter wire

Pin 85 - to the GWR or blue/white wire on your unit

Pin 30 - second starter wire

it's a 2007 G35 coupe.

So, I still need a relay for this setup?
