When i remote start the car the air bag deploy light turns on, but when i start it normally with the key it doesn't turn on. i was wondering what seems to be wrong??? thank you

Ignition 2          BLUE / YELLOW          (+)          IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Accessory 1          WHITE/ GREEN          (+)          IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter 1          GREEN/ BLACK          (+)          IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter 2          BLACK/ WHITE          (+)          IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS

Either missing one of those wires listed above, or possibly he has one of the ignition wires powered up as accessory instead of ignition.

Turn the heater on High, start car with key...you'll observe that the blower motor stays on during cranking, unlike most other cars. That's just how Toyota does things.

Anyway, now turn it off, and start it by remote....does the blower still stay on during cranking, or does it turn off and then come back on?

^ hope you didn't pay him. He didn't do it the right way then. And that's likely the reason your airbag light is on.
