I did a remote start on a customers 01 pathfinder the issue I'm having is I used the red negative parking light wire. The problem is the parking lights and the dash lights don't work now it blows the taillamp fuse everytime you turn on parking lights? I tested the red negative parking light wire before hooking it up and it showed open connection when off and went to negative when on and I switched the remote start over to negative output before connecting so I'm really lost here. Its obviously not activating the relay because the relay isn't getting power due to the fuse blowing any help would be great

try using the positive output in the car

the wire is pink/blue and it is located at the security module to the left of the column

this wire should also be at the fusebox

It blows with nothing hooked to it and you turn them on with the switch. According to direct techs its a red wire and I tested it and it tested fine
