Short and sweet. Installed DLPK in 09 GMC Sierra w/o the RFloop and I cannot get it to program for the immobilizer. I can get it to do the locks and everything else. It will remote start if I have the key all the way in and I dont need to turn it to ACC or IGN for it to start.

Installed D2D w/ Viper 5501. Checked all wires 5000 times in accordance to the lasted install manual for the vehicle.

Anyone have any ideas? I would appreciate a quick response :) Do I need a RF loop or whats the deal..

UPADTE: Tried connecting it all wire-2-wire with the same results. I have 2 DLPK modules and they both do the same thing..

I'm using the DLPK on my NBS Silverado and the remote start works great. Make sure you plug press the button during the d2d plug in to the DLPK, then plug in the ignition harness to the dlpk then the canbus harness. Within 5 secs turn the key to on, not start, the DLPK should rapidly flash showing the the imbolizer is programmed. If your not geting this the doors may still work but the remote start will not.

here is how I hooked mine up.

Just added the brake wire, IGN, ACCY, and remote start safety switch and it fired up fine!

Could you tell me what the DLPK LED is doing when you activate the remote start?

I would love to tell u yes, but I'm not going to pull it all back apart to find out. Next time I get in there I will look for you. Did you unplug it after you programmed the dlpk?if u unplug it u have to start it with the key again before remote starting it. Do all of your lights turn on and warning lights turn on ac and such when u try to remote start? I have also heard of these trucks throwing a code that is basically like having 2 keys on the same key ring that will keep it from remote starting. I had that when I was testing and installing, just pulled out the bullydog and cleared the dtc.
