Which remote start would be best to install on a 2000 Ford Pick-up with a Diesel and Manual Transmission?

Any decent product that says on the label that it's OK for manual trannies AND diesels, Viper 5901 etc,

Definitely recommend the new style Clifford/Viper or Autostart.

Ok now can anyone tell me how difficult it is to install on a manual Tranny? I have done the diesel part before and many auto/gas vehicles, but never a manual transmission.

Manual tranny is door triggers and ebrake as necessities in comparison to automatic. E-brake to start the reserve mode and door triggers to set it when you get out.

And you have to use a relay to bypass the clutch switch to start. on Fords it's best to program the delay

start for diesel instead of the wait to start light for the glow plugs. Did a 1999 Ford 1 ton tow truck

and worked perfectly
