Put  a Astrostart 2504 into a 2000 Chevy Blazer yesterday. The remote starter will not crank the vehicle. It does not power up the starter wire (P4-5 blu wire on unit). I can start the engine with the key and then take over the vehicle with  the remote start no problem, it just won't crank the starter. I have checked and triple checked my connections and can't find anything wrong. Do I have a bad brain or is it a programming issue that I have overlooked?

FWIW I used a PLJX bypass module but I know it's not a passlock issue because the starter wire never gets pwered up at all by the remote start, also if it was a passlock issue this vehicle would start and die.

if you hooked up the anti-grind of the r/s make sure that the light blue is on the key side and the the dark blue it on the starter side of the wire if hooked the other way it will not start the vehicle.

easy way to check that would be to jump the two cut starter wires together and try to rs it then

Fixed it with a new brain.
