I've treid finding this information, but to no avail..I measured the PK2 resistance with my digital multimeter here are the readings I got. (The 20K is the lowest it would read from)

With red probe on Blk wire and blk probe on ylw (keyside) 20K= 5.99 200K= 5.3

With blk probe on on blk wire and red on ylw (keyside) 20K = 6.34 200k= 7.0

Problem is, I don't have enough experience with the resistor values etc. to know what resistor I need n'or the actuall value. (1 ohm 100 ohms 10 Kohms etc)

Which resistor do I need to bypass the PK? (Ohms and color code)

Also I need a 1500 ohm resistor or a 1.5 Kohm resistor how do I identify that one?

by the way 1500 ohm and 1.5 Kohm are the same (kilo = 1000)

Or measure with a DMM 1500 ohm is also notated as 1.5Kr

^ testing using a multimeter? That's rubbish mate! test lights all ya need!!!! haha

Of course, why didn't I figure it out, watch the bulb dim or feel how hot the resistor gets! Simple! Am I ever going to live down my comments on test lights or should I sell my Snap-On shares!

And I'm STILL pro test light in the right hands with the right experience, it's horses for courses but we can't say that to novices who we automatically suspect would shove it up a data circuit. Many years ago I watched a young lad probing around with a MAC LED test light where 2 croc clips went to live and ground, the probe went to the suspect wire which then told you by green or red LEDs whether it was neg or pos and he complained he couldn't get a reading. I noticed he had the clips plugged onto the battery of an adjacent car! That's why we tell people to use a DMM.

Brown Green Red.
