Any ideas on alternate locations to tag rear defroster trigger other than at the radio/climate control bezel?
I'm really not interested in pulling that unit if I don't absolutely have to.
I put an Avital 4103 in my wife's 2010 Accord LX this weekend, and that's the last item left to hook up. In this car, I can't even hear the relay click when pushing the defrost button, so I couldn't trace it out that way, unfortunately.
Thoughts? Thanks!

hey, driver unlock is YELLOW (REV) in DKP white connector going into door
driver lock is ORANGE (REV) in DKP white connector going into door
Rear defrost is BROWN (-) Fuse box green connector
Trunk release ORANGE (+) Fuse box geen conector
All Door trigger PINK (-) fuse box white connector

just take the status output and connect it to the BROWN. if you want you can always wire up a relay just incase. 85 - status output from remote start
86 - constant 12v fused @ 2 or 5 amps
87 - ground
30 - to brown defrost wire.

Alright guys... I braved the 10 degree temps tonight (okay, it was probably 15 or 20 in the garage, but still damn cold), and tested the three brown wires I found in both green plugs on the front side of the fuse panel.
I couldn't figure out which brown wire it was. I thought since it was a neg trigger, my test light would go on if I hooked it up to 12v and pressed the defrost button on the dash. No dice. Also tried it the opposite way, hooking the test light to ground and watching for power on each of the brown wires. Nothing that way, either.
On my 2002 Accord, the defroster relay is nice & loud, which made it easy to find. On my mom's 2006 Civic that I put a starter in a few weeks ago, the defroster relay was very quiet, but I could hear it clicking while probing behind the climate control bezel.
In this car, I can't hear it at all. Not sure if it's under the hood or what, but I can't hear anything at all.
Perhaps the green plug they're referring to is on the back side of the fuse panel? I did a quick trace and it seems like the harness plugged into the back of the panel runs back to the firewall, over, and then up the steering column, where the big green plug on the front of the panel seems to run over to the center dash area.
So I guess after all of this rambling (lol), I need to know the correct way to test for the defroster wire... Any input is greatly appreciated. :)

if you look at the drivers side fusebox headon, the green plug is vertical right beside the fuses the brown wire is in the light green connector about 6 pins down, it is a negative latched system, if you want to see how long it stays on for start the car turn on the rear defrost and time how long it takes for the light to turn off then set your starter accordingly

05gt is right. its a huge green plug with a white trim around it. look towards the left side ofthat plug and the wire is there. I have a picture of the plug and the wire, but not its direct pinout. If you want, pm me andi will email it toyou. I have no idea how to upload pictures
