My buddy has one he's interested in. Has anyone ever done one successfully? And if so, what's involved?
For what it's worth his car has an electronic key similar to '08-up Chryslers that gets turned in the dash (it's not a conventional switchblade key setup and also not Keyless Go).
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Metz. Any idea on their pricing? I've seen midcityengineering's stuff and it looks cool but I don't like how vague they are about the price...like seriously just come out and say it - everyone knows it's going to be expensive!
FWIW I've e-mailed Bypasskit and Fortin too, will update when they get back to me.

OK, one update. Jonathan at Fortin says "Not yet", they don't have a bypass.

i have done 1 midcity engineering piece on an r350 and it was an excellent piece very easy install.
works thru factory panic button, they offer ad-ons to use a dei remote or compustar remote, contact them about being an authorized installer for them in your area and they will refer people who contact them from your area, they have a set minmum price for the parts of 799.00 PLUS labor installed
it is a very nice easy to install data all in one piece
