I just bought this used Suburu and it has this remote start installed. I can start the car by pressing and holding both buttons. When I get in the car and touch the brakes, the car turns off. What do the two buttons do and how do I keep the car running? Thank you for any help.

put key in the ignition when it is remote started and turn to run, THEN press the brake.  Now your cooking with gas.

Yeah a remote start doesn't mean you can drive without a key my man.
