anyone know which bypass kit i can use for the immobilizer? i am not sure if i can use 556uw or 556u, I am also planning on using the cansl2... any info in this vehicle, i have a potential customer bringing the car to me in the next couple of days. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

556u is where it's at on that vehicle for immobilizer.

thanks....has anyone worked on this vehicle? is the wiring diagram the same as the 2007??? thanks

you need to use the 556U from DEI for the immobilizer bypass, and you will need to use a piece from Idatalink if you want to avoid some headaches

idatalinks volkswagen platforms are almost bulletproof and are most of the time are 2 wire hookup, well in your case it will be 3 wires

hahaha, damn you dont have to be harsh i just wanted to see if any other installer has used done this car with that module and if they had any problems

go to viper.com click interface module and then type your car year and model it tells you what module you need, hope this will help...

And when you install the 556U set it up as the European instructions, DON'T use the antenna loop.
