I just finished installing the alarm in my 92 bmw 535I, I try to program it and the alarm does not go into the program mode. Where would I find the owners, install and lcd remote manuals?? I have misplaced them some where and I can't find them. thankx

Did you install the siren yet? Is the antenna plugged in? I know these are trivial questions but they need to be asked. The siren (or horn) is the only way to know if you have entered programming mode. Does everything else work fine? Actually you shouldnt be able to remotely start the vehicle if you have never entered programming mode. look through the manual and get back to us.

everything is hooked and the alarm works great but I haven't been able to get the remote start to work. I will look at the manual and see what I am doing wrong. I press the valet switch and the is no chirp, if that helps

Like I mentioned before, you need to enter programming before it will even try to remote start. Look in the manual at the start feature II programming. Select voltage checking type and then try to start the car. Read the manual carefully for that section and then go try it. Make sure when you press the valet button that you get a clean press and release because the button can be difficult to press cleanly. Remember you need to turn the key on/off, on/off, on/off. So start and end in the off position, then press the button 10 times and on the 10th time hold it until you hear the siren. If the siren doesnt sound after three seconds or so then try again.

sounds like a problem with the neutral saftey switch not being grounded, had this problem a while back and it had me stumped for a while until I checked everything over

The BLACK/ white wire on mini black connector must be grounded, otherwise it will not start.
