I was wanting to install a viper 5701 with the idatalink ads-al ca  into a 01 cadillac deville.  was wondering if anyone had wiring info for me..   any help would be appreciated

im not sure where to hook up the ground when running and the lock/arm-input   the unlock/disarm-output from the datalink to the viper

take the outputs of the viper and match them to the input of the idatalink.

alright thanks    do i have to use a relay on the ignition wires?

You may need a relay to power the additional accesory wire, sine the 5701 only has one accesory output!

if oyu need to power up addition circuits for the remote start, grab a relay and wire it like so

85 - acc, ign or start (-) output from alarm/rs
86 - constant 12v
87 - constant 12v
30 - to wahtever wire you intended its use for

thanks,   im not a brand new installer,  just having trouble understanding some of viper diagrams
