I'm working on a '01 caravan I've installed a c3-rs603 and a ads-al-dl module(data mode connection). Van starts up fine, no problems with the second start. But for the life of me I can't get the thing to stop running using the autopage fob after I start it using it. Got any ideas?

stupid question but are you pushing the * button 2 times to shut down?

I'm not familiar with Autopage, but have you tried shutting the system down by stepping on the brake pedal inside the van?

If stepping on the brake works, but the remote doesn't, it's possible you're not using the remote properly.

If, on the other hand, it doesn't shut down when stepping on the brake, there is some kind of installation issue.

The pedal worked fine using the ads-al-dl to communicate it to the RS module. The fob was working like the XT11 fob. On the first press of the * after starting unlocked the doors but after that it just stopped responding to the * button. I tried programming the RS to one button on and off. Didn't help either. What I had to do was de-pin the white wire from the D2D cable. Attach the break shut off to the actual pedal switch and run a tach wire. After that it worked perfectly. This wasn't one of the 0808 production runs of the C3-RS603s either which made me mad and why I didn't try de-pinning earlier.

This was my first attempt at an Autopage, and well, it will be my last attempt at a Autopage. It had less features as a similarly priced Python/Viper. Instruction book was poorly written. And the main feature I wanted it for (compatibility with Idatalink modules to make this install easy) wasn't that great and made me pull my hair out for a while. Thanks but no.

are you using the d2d cable? you mention you depinned one of the wires. i suggest you dont run d2d and hardwire everything w2w. see if that helps.

Can't car's done and out the door. De-pinning the white wire from the wire just means the ADS box can't send the RS the tach signal, brake pedal, and alarm triggers. See: https://autopageusa.com/resources/603Techbullitfinal.pdf for what I had to do. After I did that bypass and alarm and door locks worked fine. ran the tach and break pedal and no more problems with it not shutting off using the fob.
