I installed a nustart remote starter (compustar cm5200 brain) in a 2004 Nissan Quest. The van only has an automatic sliding door on the passenger side.
I connected it to auxiliary output 3, and it works fine. And I have it in secure mode (press button IV first). But it triggers the remote to indicate a door has been opened if the vehicle is still armed/locked. Instead of turning off the factory alarm feature so that the doors are not monitored, is there another way I can have the vehicle unlock/disarm before the sliding door is opened without pressing button I first to unlock? Basically I need it to function like the trunk output, which doesn't require me to unlock the vehicle first, it will do it when the trunk button is pressed (button III for 2.5seconds).
I want to eliminate the button presses from:
button I to unlock
button IV, then button III to open sliding door
to just:
button IV, then button III, will unlock/disarm and then open the sliding door.
Maybe somehow wire the auxiliary 3 output to the unlock output as well?

how long of a pulse or constant signal is needed on that wire to open the door? If it just requires a pulse then just switch it over to the trunk output and use that.

It requires a quick pulse. I'm actually using the trunk output for the rear liftgate. I don't want them to be triggered simultaneously
