When I start the car with a remote, it doesn't turn off. I have to wait for 5 min to turn off automatically.
In additon, I can drive the car without a key inserted.

Did you connect the foot brake?

i was just going to say the same thing. make sure you have the foot brake shutdown wire connected. this is commonly a positive input.

btw how are you driving without a key? the steering wheel lock would engage, and if you have the tach wire connected, if it reads a high tach(over rev protection) it will shut down the unit.

You didn't steal the car now did ya? LOl! Playin, how is the unit not sensing the over rev and shutting down, normally audiovox equipment always require the connection of a tach wire!
