I've got all the necessary parts from a donor car to add power windows & locks to my manually-equipped '94 Celica. Installation of the actual parts isn't a problem, I've already got the driver's door parts installed and door harness wired into the car. (I left the p/s manual for now, so I'd at least have one window that rolls down!)
My goal is to use the donor car's OEM door control module to operate the windows and locks. I'm a total newbie when it comes to electrical ANYTHING, and I desperately need help. I have the donor car's dash harness; ripping out my dash and replacing the harness w/donor harness is not an option. It's my hope that I can create a custom harness to basically wire the door harnesses to the DCM.

I believe I understand the pinout for the DCM. If I use the harness the plugs into the DCM and splice it to the portion of the harness that connects to the door harnesses at the A pillar, theoretically it should result in power windows and locks, right? I've done this, but I'm missing something, as it doesn't seem that power is getting to the master switch. I have a multi meter, but being a newbie, honestly I don't even know where to begin in order to isolate what I'm missing.
Anyone care to help me take a stab at it? Please? This project has been going on for a LONG time and I've about had it, I just want to wrap it up already.
