Does anyone know what wire I would connect a remote start glow plug sensor wire to on a 1999 VW Golf TDI (Diesel)? Can't find much in wire diagrams for the TDI.

Thanks, I hope to tackle this, this weekend. I am also getting mixed info on the tach wire colors. Do you also know what I'd look for here? Any other wiring remote start wiring suggestions would be helpful. I have printed off the two wiring reference sheets I found on this site, but they seem to conflict in some areas.

I got the remote start to work, however intermittently it will set off the alarm (horn) if locked when starting. I tried attaching the - pulse wire from the remote start with a relay connecting the two ends of the alarm wire under the dash, in the Comfort Control module. This didn't help. If I connect to the unlock wire in the drivers door, I don't know how I would lock it after the car is started? I wouldn't want it unlocked during the run time? Any Ideas?

make sure you have the factory alarm disarm wire hooked up. if you dont, set the unit to UNLOCK-START-RELOCK.
