I have a 99 VW passat GLS and I have been professionally installing for around five years. I want to add the window roll-up feature on the front windows with my omega excaibler rs/keyless/security. I have AUX channels 3 & 4 assigned with relays to perform this function. When I pulled the door panels off, I realized that the window control module is built into the motor. I have seen that this is common on most VW's and the only way to roll them up and down is by pulsing the door lock wires or opening the motor and soldering onto it. So my question is: Has anyone attempted to do this or is there a trick that I don't know about?
Thank You
Troy

Extend the lock pulse, the processor bolts directly to the motor. Opening that lot up is going to be an expensive can of worms!

just to let you know. If you dont want to extend the lock/unlock pulse. 1000 ohm resistor for up is good for yellow/white & yellow/violet & 175 ohm is good for window down. Both of these wires can be found @ the window drivers switch in the driver's door

I almost forgot, a ground pulse must be sent through the resistors and the the ignition must be powered up

Yes but it's still easier to extend the lock pulse.
