Hey guys, what im looking for is some sort of a system that can send an SMS message or call my cell phone when my alarm is triggered.

No need for a remote start, etc. Ill explain...

What I have is a large enclosed trailer, thats kept in a lot about 2 miles from my house. I have a tiny cheap alarm in it, however this wont do much good when it gets triggered since no one will hear it in this lot. I need to be notified.

Im willing to install an entire new system, or just add some module on that I can connect to the alarm output so it will text or call me when triggered.

Any idea's?

never heard of a product like that the closes thing is a 2way system be it only has a mile range but that is not practial use of it though

Look into the Autopage C3. Not cheap, but I think it should do what you want.

I believe it does have a remote starter, but you could just not connect that feature, since of course your trailer has no engine.
