Hello,
It's a bit of a long shot, but does anyone know where you can get the installation manual for a Clifford Avantguard 5.5 alarm and intelli-start system?
Thanks

Yes me but only when I install them.
Actually it's the same as the Concept 650 Mkll.
Have fun with a Peugeot, I was the first to install them into Peugeots.

New here, so I don't know what the forum rules are, but I can get a manual for you and post a link.

First if these alarms are sold over the counter they carry NO guarantee, they are only supposed to be installed by approved dealers or installers like myself.
Only people like myself with password access to the DEI website can get the instructions. DEI monitors this site and I have a good relationship with them, I wouldn't ruin this for the sake of a job which is in effect taking the food out of my mouth. In fact if you go to the importers with problems and they find out who sold it to you over the counter, that company will lose its franchise!
If you tell us what vehicle you have, make, model, year, auto or manual, I can help you.
AG 5.5 is simply a Concept 650 Mk. ll with the later G5 remotes(Tony that's a 550 with relay locks, battery back up siren metal casing, 2 immobiliser circuits and 2 grounds, all the power immobiliser and ground leads are black) with 2 useless extra sensors, tilt and glass break and an Intellistart

Hi Howie,
I brought it from a private seller on good old e-bay a while ago. It's been sitting in my shed for a couple of months and now hopefully the snows going and the warmer weather is coming I thought I will install it.
I did install (and remove as I still have it) a MK4 Solaris in my old Renault Espace with no hitches so hopefully this will be similar, I am pretty confidant with car electronics.
It will be going into a 1997 Ford Galaxy 2.8 V6 manual.
I know for the Galaxy I will need the transponder bypass system to override the Ford PATs system

WRONG! You might find it uses the VW ignition system and by-pass. If the colours are red (poss) x2, black or BLACK/ blue, BLACK / YELLOW, RED / black and BROWN / red, it's VW and you will need a 556U. If it's Ford, simply remove the chip from all your keys and acrylic glue one of the chips to the antenna ring.
Programme comfort close, it will close all your windows on locking.

Ah thanks for that mate,
It's defo Ford PATS/ignition. There's the ring around the lock and the small box under the dash clocks with 2 small plugs and all white wires iirc.
One problem I can foresee is I have installed a remote start button so it no longer starts on the key but that should just be a matter of re routing the wires.
